Kristen Becker, MSN, CNM

Kristen grew up in a large family in rural Upstate New York. While studying spanish and anthropology at the University of Vermont, Kristen began to explore women's health topics and realized that a career in nurse-midwifery would best incorporate her interests. Kristen then continued her education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where she received a second Bachelor's degree, this time in Nursing. After working as a labor and delivery nurse in Boston, MA, Kristen entered graduate school at Yale University for a Masters degree in nurse-midwifery. Kristen now lives in Hamden, CT with her husband, Dr. Jaideep Talwalkar, who is associate clinical director of the Yale University Internal Medicine/Pediatric residency program. They are kept extremely busy with their three young boys.
